Why Bitcoin Is a Martial Art

What comes to your mind when you think of Bitcoin?

Do you think of wealth beyond your wildest dreams? Flashy cars? Big boats? Chicks with big tits? Your own island? Massages every day with happy endings?

Perhaps you think of it purely from a monetary perspective? A sound P2P digital cash system immune to centralization The ultimate savings technology where your saved wealth can’t be confiscated through inflation.

Or if you are more on the nerdy side you may picture it as thousands of line of this gibberish:

To me Bitcoin is a martial art

It is the moment in between thinking of the future or the past. When billions of synapses are firing all at once, creating new neural pathways, trying to solve complex situations.

Where through repetition our amazing minds solve these complex puzzles, and all we need to do is to show up.

It is right in the middle of future thought and past thought, where these two meet, in that very moment, where we are living! Truly living! It is here in the dream of the mind and waking reality, where the two simultaneously intertwine, that we meet ourselves.

Why I believe Bitcoin is relatable to Brazilian Ju-Jitsu (BJJ)

BJJ/BTC can be practiced by one and all. It is open for kids, men, women and elderly who wish to learn. They both teach one to be in control and fight a stronger, bigger opponent (government and banks) irrespective of age, gender or size.

BJJ/BTC make one physically and mentally strong. They sharpen the learner’s mind, as they involve a lot technical thinking and strategizing.

BJJ/BTC teach commitment, to be a bull. To commit 100% to your next move. There is no half-way. Grab your balls, make a decision and commit to it!

BJJ/BTC build character and nourish one to be physically, mentally and emotionally strong.

During training the learner undergoes a plethora of emotions such as failure, fatigue, anger, sadness, frustration, but also the euphoric feelings of happiness, strength, confidence and joy.

Some days you have a high adrenaline rush, while some days you don’t feel like training. This spectrum of emotions installs emotional stamina for any adversity faced in life, giving you the will to carry on through adversity, thus building character and ultimately making you a better version of yourself.

BJJ/BTC promote self-improvement like any martial art form. They also leave an infinite scope for improvement, adaptation and learning, even after attainment of black belt. It is important to acknowledge your shortcomings, and constantly fine tune your technique.

You quickly realise your only opponent is truly yourself, and every day studying you sharpen your blade a little more. Realise we are all forever white belts and that we are all Satoshi (except Craig). 😊

BJJ/ BTC creates legacy! This evolves generation to generation, occurring organically. It is a product of honest human interaction, each pushing one another to new levels. Each and every student is unique, and will have to develop a myriad of skills and techniques to adapt constantly over time. Lifestyles, body structures, gender and disabilities are just a few examples of things that will have to be individually overcome. Everyone develops their own unique thumbprint or style to tackle certain obstacles. Once you have reached a certain level of competence from the accrual of information and knowledge, you can pass it on (network effect). This creates your own legacy in your immediate community, thus building your own identity and purpose. Forever becoming a part of the collective legacy of BJJ and Bitcoin.

Finding Purpose

The world so full of darkness, fear, confusion, anger, hate and torment. With people wandering aimlessly, lost, with nothing but a broken moral compass that has been systematically put in place over generations of indoctrination, using ideological subversion, diversion, division, lies and deceit.

This bias education has seeped its way into every aspect of our economies and societies through film, media, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, charity and the list goes on. It has twisted the minds of countless people. NOT ALL! But many. The world has been governed by an evil, demonic monetary system that erodes the true values of humanity. It leaves the human soul in confusion, making us feel separate from one another, and steering us away from our true nature.

Bitcoin and BJJ give us an immediate grip on our life. The confidence to plant our feet firmly in the ground and say fuck you and fuck this shit!

Just as we can take a grip on our opponents Gi in Jiu-Jitsu, slowly wrapping our arm around his neck and squeezing until he taps out, we can do the same with Bitcoin.

As we Auto DCA and take a grip on our keys, slowly restricting the air supply to the fiat system. We must stand firm in our vales and the things we know to be true. They will give the fortitude we need to strangle the life out of this global monolithic monetary system that has no mercy for any life on our planet.

Knowing we may get wealthy in the case of BTC mooning will not be enough. We must drop our anchors firm in our hearts and hodl fast. And as our own Captain, we must be ready to to go down with our ship. As this monster kicks, scratches and screams for power. As it employs every asset in its arsenal to brake us, we must hodl on until it goes limp in our grips.

Then shoot the fucker in the head for good measure.

What I’m trying to portray here is how beautiful Bitcoin is. Why it’s worth fighting for, how it can help us lead a more virtuous life and prioritize our values.

So next time you notice something beautiful in life, whether it be

dropping in on the biggest wave

watching your garden grow

eating a warm meal

planting trees

the love of your pet

someone picking up rubbish off the footpath and chucking it in the bin

watching your child take its first steps or speak their first words

an act of random charity

your son having his first swig of beer

ferociously making love to your partner

or the first breath of fresh air you take in the morning

peg Bitcoin to it. It will become more than money. It’ll become something worth dying for.

Ultimately Bitcoin is what we make of it. Bitcoin doesn’t give a shit. What is Bitcoin to you?
