The Biblical Trinity of Bitcoin

Freedom, Decentralization, and Truth

by Spinte | Jan. 21st, 2022 | vol.15

Reading the Bible I was amazed how many common concepts I found with Anarcho-capitalism and Bitcoin. God is sovereign over all creation, but He’s also a hardcore freedom maximalist, and that’s fortunate for us because an evil or unrighteous creator would have imposed His will from the beginning, making us all slaves or destroying us because of our sins.

God IS and we would have not existed if God would not be.

Freedom

Freedom is at the core of Bitcoin: for the first time in history, we can transact monetary value in a permissionless way, without the need of a third party. No one can censor interactions, no one can force network players to do something.

God also made us free: He gave us free will. We would not be free without free will. Freedom came with the possibility of making bad choices and with responsibility for our actions.

The first example of God respecting humans' sovereignty comes from the Bible’s first book: Genesis.

The Garden of Eden: God’s Citadel

The Garden of Eden is a model of a gated community. God created Adam and Eve and placed them in His Citadel. He gave them one simple rule that they needed to follow: not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Breaking God’s law did not make Adan and Eve prisoners, but the ancestral sin came with its repercussions: death and banishment from the garden. Adam and Eve had to live a life outside God’s paradise, a life that would end in their death.

In our modern society that we consider being civilized, the opposite happens: when we don’t follow the state’s arbitrary rules we are being thrown in a cage, we are imprisoned and our life is destroyed. The worst part is that this happens even when there are no victims for our actions. The punishment for victimless crimes is the ultimate arrogance of the evil forces that rule our society.

Bitcoin itself is a gated network based on strict consensus rules: anyone that uses a different rule is kicked out of the network. Also, a Bitcoin Citadel would most probably be a model of God’s Garden of Eden where breaking the strict rules would lead to banishment. This would ensure that the formation of a government would not be necessary.

The Exodus: God gifted freedom

In ancient Egypt, the Israelites were enslaved and exploited by the evil pharaoh, but God wanted them to be free. With the help of God, Moses parted the Red Sea and the Israelites escaped from their slavery. They were on their way towards God’s promised land, a journey that should have taken 11 days. But Israelites were not grateful for their freedoms and were constantly bitching even though God provided for all their needs. At one point they even wanted to go back to Egypt in slavery…

Long story short, a journey that should have taken 11 days took 40 years. This happened because the people didn’t listen to God. God gifted the Israelites with freedom and helped them but they didn’t appreciate their gift and didn’t listen to Him, so they lost 40 years wandering in the desert.

I believe that Bitcoin is a gift from God. I believe that Bitcoin was created by Satoshi with the help of the Holy Spirit. And I see a deep similarity between the Israelites Exodus from slavery and the 40 years wandering in the desert before reaching the promised land and what’s happening today in the crypto space. God gifted us the technology to ignite a new Renaissance and instead of us seizing that opportunity, we are gambling on shitcoins, lying, and scamming people. This shitcoin wandering could very well take us 40 years to reach Renaissance 2.0

Decentralization

Decentralization ensures antifragility. A system that’s centralized is fragile because it can always be broken or fully corrupted through a single point of failure.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
— Ephesians 6:12

This pandemic made it clear for many of us that this statement is true. We are fighting a spiritual war and God wants us to be antifragile in order to be able to resist the attack of the evil forces.

Centralization can work only if the central point of failure is incorruptible, righteous, and indestructible, that’s why centralization can work only in God’s kingdom because God IS! In a fallen world, decentralization ensures resistance against the rulers of the darkness of this world.

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’ ”
— Matthew 4:8–10

From this verse, we can deduce that Satan rules over the world. The pandemic confirmed this to us, we just had to pay attention to what’s happening to understand that evil forces rule over the Earth.

In a world ruled by the devil, there can be no freedom without decentralization.

Tower of Babel: humanity’s first decentralization event

Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.”
— Genesis 9:1

In the Bible we can read that right after the flood, God told humanity to fill the earth, to decentralize. Unfortunately, humanity didn’t listen (again) and decided to do the exact opposite: they built a city, a small-scale New World Order that was ruled by Nimrod, a mighty hunter from the seed of Nephilims that was evil and against God.

Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”
— Genesis 11:4

Evidence surfaced that the Tower of Babel really existed, and it was most probably built with slave force, the same way the pyramids were built.

But God confused their language so that they could no longer communicate with each other and scattered them from there over all the Earth. Humanity remembered the same history but they told it in different languages, and that’s how we ended up with multiple mythologies that tell a similar story. Zeus has his equivalents in roman mythology (Jupiter), Hinduism (Indra), and so on. The stories of the ancient gods represent the pre-flood history of the Biblical fallen angels that were venerated as gods. After the language confusion, humanity became decentralized, at least for a while…

Bitcoin: humanity’s second decentralization event

We can see that we didn’t learn from history and now we are building the Tower of Babel again. We created the NWO in order to bring all the nations together, and now, every country is preparing the ultimate tool of control and persecution: CBDCs. This world is falling deeper and deeper into tyranny. Imagine Hitler conquering the whole Earth and add on top of that a modern technology that makes anything possible, that’s where we are right now in an unofficial way. Without Bitcoin, we would be in a truly hopeless situation right now.

Truth

For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.
— Luke 8:17

Truth requires transparency. Truth is the hallmark of honesty and goodwill. Truth is at the base of any long-lasting relationship, it’s one of the fundamental ingredients of the low-time preference mindset.

Hiding information is the hallmark of deceivers and liars. Lying is the product of a high-time preference fiat mindset. One can’t build a long-lasting relationship based on lies.

A transparent timeline

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
— 1 Thessalonians 5:21

Don’t trust, verify, it’s written in the Bible! The Word of God cannot be untrue because if it would be then it would not be trusted!

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.
— Isaiah 46:10

There are more than 300 fulfilled Biblical prophecies in the Old Testament alone that prove the Bible is the word of God. If we would not have been told the future then we would be easily deceived by Satan, that’s why God is helping us and wants us to know what’s to come. Our Father wants us to have the whole truth and not fall prey to lies and deceit.

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
— John 8:44

The Bible is telling us the full history of humanity, from the beginning until the end, from Genesis to Revelation. We can see what lies ahead and that’s why we can prepare and avoid being deceived by the father of lies.

A transparent monetary policy

Satoshi was transparent from the beginning, proving that he was acting in true faith and with good intentions. Bitcoin's monetary strategy has been open from the beginning and it’s known exactly until the end. There will ever be 21 million Bitcoins, and the issuance rate is set and predetermined. If Bitcoin would not have been open source then it could not have been trusted. If Bitcoin’s monetary policy would be changed then it would not be trusted. Transparency is a core value of Bitcoin’s ethos and it’s required for truth. Truth shines like a light in the dark. Compare Bitcoin monetary policy with the monetary policy of fiat money: a small group of lying deceivers that plan behind closed doors, in secrecy, the fate of us all, for their own benefit. If you don’t see how evil the fiat system is, I don’t know what can make you see. Stack like your life depends on Bitcoin because it is!
