How long have you been into Bitcoin and what got you interested?

My first contact with Bitcoin was in 2011, a friend of mine talked about it, started learning from him in 2012. Unfortunately I waited with buying and fomoed in later. If someone asks me today, I just tell them to buy as much as they can stomach to lose as soon as possible.

I didn’t know anything about computers, I got in because the monetary system seemed dysfunctional and I’d realized that Goblerment will never do us any good.

How did you come up with your alias and why don’t you use your real name?

I’m half italian, cane means dog, X just happened. I don’t use my name because I don’t want beggars or crooks at my door when we’re done burning this shit to the ground.

Best Bitcoin experience and worst Bitcoin experience?

Hard to say what the best experience is. But if it doesn’t have to be a single point in time, I’d say hanging out with all the cool people on Bitcoin twitter. It sounds cheezy, but the coolest part about it is that even a nobody like me can interact with and learn from the brightest people working on Bitcoin. I can’t find the equivalent in other areas of interest.

The worst experience is probably also not an event, but when people start talking bullshit about inflation, if predetermined, being acceptable, I lose my shit. I put them on my list of spooks being part of a psyop to destroy Bitcoin the second I see it. Tends to get me blocked on Twitter.

What is the biggest fail you have ever seen in the Bitcoin world?

Kevin Pham becoming a shitcoiner. I think I laughed for two weeks straight.

What do you think about the Bitcoin markets volatility this last year?

What volatility?

What are your thoughts on the upcoming halving and how will it affect price?

I don’t do short term predictions, I have absolutely no edge. Long term every halving is a bullish event.

Otoh I did some TA for Hodlonaut, and the Bobs and Vagene chart tells me the next bullrun peaks at $348640.

What is the biggest threat of COVID to the economy?

Goblerments increasing their power. It’s scary to see how they try to expand their power as soon as they see an opening. They do it completely without consideration of people’s freedom. All rights are a hoax. And times like this show it, we can’t trust them. I wish they would just go away.

What are your thoughts about the US Federal Reserve injecting so much money into the economy because of COVID?

It’s great, fuel on the fire. Thank you very much.

How do you think this affects Bitcoin?

The badger doesn’t care. But people do. So hopefully, new people realize Bitcoin can benefit them. Hopefully some of those people have a lot of money so the feedback loop feeds back faster.

Why do you think some people, especially noobs gravitate to shitcoins?

Everyone wants to be rich. Gambling at the shitcoin casino is everyone’s right. I don’t mind people gambling.

Shilling shitcoins is what is immoral. Salesmen trying to get rich from other people’s misfortune and risk taking, that’s disgraceful. I think the days of shitcoins are over. Most of them won’t make it into the next bullrun.

What do you think most shitcoiners miss about Bitcoin?

That it isn’t about competing with Visa or whatever about fast payments. It’s all about censorship resistant, globally spendeable scarcity.(h/t MrHodl) And Bitcoin value isn’t primarily a head count competition, it grows in value with what people are willing to trust the network with. When we choose to move money out of the legacy system to the new, that’s when we make a difference. That’s when we show them we’ve had enough. Convincing your little brother to spend his weekly allowance, is at least short term, inferior to making dad bet his life savings on Bitcoin.

What do you have to say to shitcoiners who claim Bitcoin will fail?

Fuck you.

Who is the biggest Bitcoin sell out that deserves to be put on blast?

Ver is on top of my list. But to be honest, even if I think it’s good to remember who they are, it’s time to just ignore them. At least as long as they don’t try another attack.

Who are some of the most hardcore Bitcoiners you know and why?

Let me cheat a bit on this one. I’ve never met a single person from Bitcoin Twitter IRL. If this was twitter I’d say, “Not MikeOnSpice”.

Since this isn’t Twitter I’ll say anyone who feels selling isn’t an option. For me, that’s what it’s all about. There is no price where I sell the corn. I just want to fuel the fire.

There are unforgiving Bitcoin Taco Plebs, and even an influencer or two that seems to be hardcore Hodlgang Supreme dumdums. There are devs doing work they never get paid for. I love these principled people.

What Bitcoin startups or companies are you most excited about?

This is a thing I give absolutely zero fucks about. All that interests me is people using Bitcoin to serve a need. Businesses that accept Bitcoin are cool. Businesses built around the concept of money and payments bore me to death. Of course we need them, but they don’t excite me at all.

What are your goto Bitcoin storage options?

Paper wallets. They burn best as I set them on fire when the goblerment tries to steal my money.

Any tips you want to give to people new to Bitcoin?

Yeah, ask a lot of questions on Twitter. The day I started doing that, I multiplied my learning rate. People are generally very open-minded and helpful.

Name some of your favorite information sources and/or podcasts in the space.

Lately I haven't listened much to podcasts, but TFTC or WBD are my default options. Mostly I just hang out on twitter and read/listen to what I find that interests me. I learn a lot from being wrong. I’m planning to start digging into more of the techier stuff/podcasts at some point when I can free up time.

Any last words of wisdom?

Yeah, Earn your honor, hodl for glory! And CatoshiMeowMoto is a dumdum.
